We conduct comprehensive assessments using well-researched and up-to-date tools to determine your child’s performance and make necessary recommendations. Assessments are available in the following domains: speech, language, social language and play, sensory development, feeding, and visual motor/fine motor skills.
Once your child is evaluated, and if intervention is warranted, the therapist and family work together to develop a care plan for your child. Frequency and duration of visits are determined and goals are developed. Typically, sessions are conducted in the child’s natural environment (e.g. home or school), but secure Telehealth visits are available for families who prefer a virtual option.
Periodically, a child already in our care requires the supports of another discipline. In this case, we offer consultative services for existing clients in which a therapist from the other discipline joins one session with the treating therapist, and provides strategies to enhance progress in future sessions.
